The Southern Railway v3 (SR v3 Phase Route) by Karthik Iyer is one of the largest and most detailed Indian Railway routes ever created for MSTS. Covering a total distance of 1,119 kilometers, this route brings together multiple key sections of Southern Railways — from Kanniyakumari to Rameswaram, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, and beyond.

This version features major upgrades and extensions, including:

• Doubled Kanniyakumari–Madurai and Vanchi Maniyachchi–Tuticorin sections.
• Two newly added route sections, enhancing network connectivity.
• Realistic DEMEX-based terrain and authentic track layouts.
• Accurate station distances, signaling, and electrification patterns.
