Note: The EfiGuard included in this crack already has Secure Boot support built-in!
QUICK STEPS OVERVIEW
- ✅ Enable SVM (AMD) / VT-x (Intel) in BIOS
- ✅ Disable VBS (Virtualization-Based Security) using FIX_Hypervisor.zip script
- ✅ Copy EfiGuard files to a formatted USB stick OR create 200MB FAT32 partition on HDD
- ✅ Copy all crack files from kirigi-hypervisor.rar into your game directory
- ✅ Reboot and boot into your USB drive or HDD partition
- ✅ Enroll loader.efi and EfiGuardDxe.efi using HashTool
- ✅ Run steamclient_loader_x64.exe from game folder
- ✅ Configure Windows Defender exclusions to prevent file deletion
DETAILED STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
STEP 1: BIOS CONFIGURATION
- Enter BIOS/UEFI (press Del, F2, F10, or Esc during startup).
- Enable Virtualization:
- For AMD: Enable SVM Mode or AMD-V
- For Intel: Enable VT-x or Intel Virtualization Technology
- Save and Exit (press F10 and confirm Yes).
PART 2 : WINDOWS CONFIGURATION
Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
- Press Windows Key + X
- Select “Windows Terminal (Admin)” or “Command Prompt (Admin)”
Run this command:
- bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
USE VBS (Virtualization-Based Security) FIX SCRIPT
For complete disabling of Virtualization-Based Security, download and run the dedicated fix script:
- Download FIX_Hypervisor.zip from: https://torrent.cybar.to/Y2024/3/FIX_Hypervisor.v2.zip
- Extract the ZIP file
- Run the script as Administrator
- Follow any on-screen instructions
- REBOOT your computer after running the script
IMPORTANT: This script fully disables VBS, Core Isolation, Memory Integrity, and other hypervisor features that can interfere with the crack.
STEP 2: PREPARE BOOTABLE MEDIA (CHOOSE ONE OPTION)
OPTION A: USING A USB DRIVE
- Format a USB stick to FAT32 (right-click USB drive → Format → choose FAT32).
- Navigate to your game folder (Resident Evil Requiem\).
- Open the EfiGuard folder.
- Copy the following contents to the root of your formatted USB stick:
- The EFI folder
- EfiDSEFix.exe
- EfiGuard.rar (optional, but recommended)
OPTION B: USING A 200MB FAT32 PARTITION ON HDD/SSD (BEST METHOD)
This is the recommended “set it and forget it” solution. Once created, you can keep the files there permanently.
- Open Disk Management:
- Right-click Start button (or press Windows Key + X)
- Select “Disk Management”
- Shrink an existing partition:
- Right-click on a partition with free space (like C: drive)
- Select “Shrink Volume”
- Enter 200 MB (or 250MB to be safe)
- Click “Shrink”
- Create a new partition:
- Right-click on the new unallocated space
- Select “New Simple Volume”
- Follow the wizard:
- Assign any available drive letter (E:, F:, etc.)
- IMPORTANT: Choose “FAT32” as the file system
- Set volume label to “EFIGUARD”
- Complete the wizard
- Copy EfiGuard files:
- Navigate to your game folder (Resident Evil Requiem\)
- Open the EfiGuard folder
- Copy the following to your new FAT32 partition:
- The EFI folder
- EfiDSEFix.exe
- EfiGuard.rar (optional)
STEP 3: INSTALL CRACK FILES
- Extract kirigi-hypervisor.rar to a temporary folder.
- Copy ALL files and folders from the extracted crack into your game directory (Resident Evil Requiem\):
- coldclient folder
- EfiGuard folder
- All .dll files (amd_ags_x64.dll, hyperevade.dll, KIRIGIRI.dll, etc.)
- .sys files (SimpleSvm.sys, hyperkd.sys)
- steamclient_loader_x64.exe
- watchdog.exe and all other files
- When prompted, click Replace or Yes to All.
STEP 4: BOOT AND ENROLL EFI FILES
- Restart your computer with the USB inserted (if using USB).
- Enter BIOS (press Del, F2, etc.) OR use the Boot Menu key (often F8, F11, F12).
- Select your boot device:
- For USB: Select your USB drive from the boot menu
- For HDD partition: Look for “UEFI: FAT32 Partition” or your drive model with the new partition
- You will see the HashTool main menu:
- Select “Enroll Hash” from the menu
- In the file browser, navigate to and select:
- First select loader.efi and press Enter to enroll it
- Then select EfiGuardDxe.efi and press Enter to enroll it
- After enrolling both files:
- Return to the main menu
- Select “Reboot System”
- When the system restarts, boot from the same media again (USB or HDD partition).
- This time EfiGuard will load properly, temporarily disabling driver signature enforcement. Works even with Secure Boot enabled!
STEP 5: LAUNCH THE GAME
- Once EfiGuard has loaded, your system will continue booting or show a command-line interface. Keep the USB inserted (if using USB).
- Navigate to your game installation folder (Resident Evil Requiem\) using File Explorer.
- Run the game using steamclient_loader_x64.exe [Run as Administrator].
STEP 6: WINDOWS DEFENDER CONFIGURATION
IMPORTANT: Do this before or immediately after installing crack files!
Add Folder Exclusions
- Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings.
- Scroll to Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions.
- Click Add an exclusion → Folder.
- Select your Resident Evil Requiem game folder.
- If using USB method, also add exclusion for your USB drive.
Restore Any Deleted Files
- In Windows Security, go to Protection history.
- Find quarantined crack files (.dll, .sys, .exe).
- Click each and select Restore.
PRO TIP
Using a 200MB FAT32 partition on your main drive is the best method. It’s always there when you need it, you can’t lose it, and you just need to select it from the boot menu whenever you want to play. After enrolling the EFI files once, they remain trusted by your system for future sessions.
NOTE ON ENROLLMENT
You only need to enroll loader.efi and EfiGuardDxe.efi once. After they are enrolled, your system will trust them and EfiGuard will load properly on subsequent boots from the same media. This process works with Secure Boot enabled because you’re explicitly telling the UEFI firmware to trust these binaries.
VERIFICATION
After completing all steps, you can verify that the hypervisor is disabled by running the following command in Command Prompt:
systeminfo | find "Hyper-V"
You should see: “Hyper-V Requirements: A hypervisor has been detected. Features required for Hyper-V will not be displayed.” or similar indicating it’s properly disabled.
