How to Install a .pkg File on macOS

1. Download the .pkg file and save it to your Mac.
2. Open Finder and go to your Downloads folder.
3. Double-click the .pkg file to start the installer.
4. If you get a security warning:
   • Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
   • Scroll down and click “Open Anyway”
5. Follow the steps on screen:
   • Continue
   • Agree
   • Install (enter your Mac password if asked)
6. Wait for “Installation was successful.”
7. Click Close.
8. (Optional) Delete the .pkg installer file if you don’t need it anymore.
